He Only Ever Looked In Europe
A guild on Moon Guard installed Hootus, and the person applying was shown a blank box where their characters should be. They had thirty-nine on file. He had asked Blizzard about one region, the one his server runs in, and quietly reported nothing found. No user has ever had a character read out of the Americas in this product, and nobody was ever told that was why. So: all four regions, every game version, and when he cannot reach one he names it. Plus the other places he showed you an empty space and let you assume it was yours: no characters, no main, no reason given.

Telling him this is not a guild
Some Discords are not one guild. They are a community, or several guilds, or not WoW at all, and he had one question about it buried in setup with no way to answer it later. There is a page for it now: it says what stops and what is kept, nothing is deleted, and the settings that no longer apply are greyed out with the reason instead of quietly failing.
The first five minutes, walked through
Finishing setup used to end with a page saying you were done, and then nothing happened until you worked out what to do next. He now offers up to four steps built from what you said you wanted, once, and each one is a button he presses himself rather than a link explaining how. Post the verify card, put up a test raid, open recruitment, pin the LFG board.
A roadmap, without the deck
There was no way to see what is being worked on, and several pages said so with some pride. There is a list now. No dates, no quarters, nothing promised, and anything that has actually shipped belongs on the changelog instead.
Hard reserves a raid lead can actually set
The reserved-by-raid-leads list showed up on the public reserve page and in the Gargul export, and there was nowhere in the app to put anything into it. There is now, in the soft reserve dialog.
4 Improved
The page after you connect Battle.net
It used to spend nine paragraphs explaining what was about to happen, to somebody who had already done it, and then list your characters as a flat line of text. It now leads with what happened, shows what he found grouped by game version and region with gear and spec, and tells you what he could not read and why. The bit before you press the button is four lines.
One page about you, not one page per server
Your profile was really your record at whichever server you had last switched to, and it opened with raid attendance. It is your account now: every character on every game version and region, and every server you are in, with the raiding record kept where it belongs, inside a guild. My characters folded into it.
Work that stopped in the night without saying so
The roster sync, the raid scheduler, the snapshots and a dozen other jobs run on their own, and a job that started failing at three in the morning failed silently. He waits until it has failed three times, then says so once, then less often, then tells you when it recovers.
Servers that never finished setup, counted at last
Anything that had not completed setup was left out of the daily figures entirely, which meant the servers most likely to need a hand were the ones he could tell you least about. The largest of them has two hundred and fifteen people in it.
11 Fixed
Him only ever looking in Europe
Connect Battle.net and he asked Blizzard for your characters in one region, the one he happens to be deployed in, which is Europe. Everyone else got told their account came back empty. It was not empty, he never looked. He now reads all four regions and every game version in each, and when he cannot reach one he says which rather than pretending there was nothing there.
A Battle.net region he never actually checked
Your linked account was filed as European because that is what the server it runs on is set to, not because anybody looked. He records the region your characters are actually in now, and every character says which region it came from, on your profile and on the page after you connect.
Twelve characters imported, above nothing at all
Connect Battle.net without being in a guild yet and the page announced how many characters it had found, then showed you an empty space, because it was reading a guild list you did not have. It reads your account now, which is where those characters actually went.
An empty character picker that would not say why
Apply to a guild and the pick-a-character list could simply not appear, with no explanation. Usually the reason is real: this guild plays on North American realms and everything on your account is European, or it is a different game version. He says which it is now, before you type anything, and the guild page and the apply form both state the game version, region and realm up front. It is a warning, not a door: if you do have a character over there, type it in.
Death Knights and Monks coming out white
Six different bits of the site worked out class colours six different ways, and four of them used a list that predates Death Knights, Monks, Demon Hunters and Evokers. Those names rendered plain white on rosters, raid sign-ups, applicant lists and both attendance tables. One guild has eight of them.
A Discord running two guilds counted as one
Run a Mists guild and a Retail guild in the same server and he showed you one, named after whichever was first, and filed the other one’s characters under it. Both are named now, each with its own game version, region and realm, and a main on one is no longer shown against the other.
A guess presented as your main character
With no main set he showed whichever character came first alphabetically as though you had chosen it, then listed that same character again under your alts with a button offering to make it your main. He says you have not picked one.
A relay that switched itself off and stayed off
Discord had a bad five minutes in August, answered five times with a server error, and he took that as a dead webhook and turned the relay off permanently. Nobody was told, and the page said it could not be fixed from there, which was not true. A server error is a bad moment now, not a verdict, the count fades, and a stopped relay has a button that turns it back on.
Buttons in a DM that did nothing at all
Every button in the tips series was dead the moment it arrived in a direct message, which is where he prefers to send them. Nobody had noticed because nobody had ever been sent one.
A raid the planner saved and never went back for
A raid made in the planner whose post Discord refused sat as a draft forever, while the same failure from a bot command got picked up and retried within the hour. Same problem, two different outcomes. He retries the ones worth retrying now, and leaves the ones that need you.
Raid series with no way in
The only way to start a series was one button on the reply to making a raid. Dismiss that message and there was no route to it at all, on a feature that otherwise works end to end. There is a command now.
